RMT Wanted. Our RMT is going back to school. We are looking for a professional, independent, reliable, self-motivated individual wanting to manage their own practice within a clinical environment. If needed, we will help guide you in setting up your practice. Recently renovated room for rent in professional Chiropractic office. Fixed monthly room rent. You will be responsible for all massage-related equipment and supplies. Must be a graduate of 2200-hour program, licensed with the City of Calgary, and member of health practitioner association. Work experience an asset, but not necessary. Therapeutic, sports, or deep tissue massage preferred. Online booking system and shared reception duties. We have been serving the families of Woodbine, Woodlands, and surrounding neighbourhoods in southwest Calgary for over 25-years. Start date will be September 1, 2026. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions and discuss their health concerns and treatment goals.
- Provide customized massage therapy treatments using various techniques tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance recovery and wellness.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients during each session.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.
- Promote the benefits of massage therapy services to current and prospective clients to support practice growth.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction.
- Effective communication skills for explaining treatment procedures, listening to client concerns, and providing professional advice.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in helping others improve their physical health and well-being.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a busy environment.
Pay: Up to $115.50 per hour
