We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines and ensure proper documentation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Support clients with household tasks including laundry, organizing personal belongings, and light housekeeping
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Engage clients in recreational activities and social interactions to foster engagement and independence
Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills and patience
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience in caregiving, cleaning, meal preparation, or related roles is a plus
- Reliable transportation may be required for home visits or client transportation needs
