Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking DZ Delivery Driver and Yard Worker to join our team at our Clinton location. This role involves the safe delivery of materials to our customers. When not on a delivery, the DZ Delivery Driver will work in the yard ensuring optimal yard organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, driving commercial vehicles, and handling heavy lifting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Safely secure materials on the truck
- Deliver materials in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload materials using forklift or moffet, as needed
- Assist with relocating goods within the yard
- Maintain a clean and organized yard
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Assist in inventory management as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Understanding of safety requirements e.g. loading and unloading the vehicle
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or yard work preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment preferred
- Knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures
- Strong customer service skills and professional attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to commute to the yard location

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
