Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Landscape Team Lead to join our crew. In this role, you will lead a team to complete a variety of outdoor projects including hardscape, landscape construction, artificial turf installation, and sports courts. You will be hands-on in the field while guiding your crew to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a crew of landscape technicians on job sites
- Assign and direct daily tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Act as the primary point of contact between the crew and management
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and safety-first team environment
Project Execution
- Oversee and actively participate in hardscape, landscape, turf installation, and sports court projects
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including excavators and power tools
- Install irrigation systems and perform a variety of gardening and horticultural tasks
- Maintain and enhance landscape features through regular upkeep
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and meet client expectations
Driving & Equipment
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly, including hauling a 12-foot trailer
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment concerns to management
- Ensure all tools and materials are properly loaded, secured, and maintained
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all safety standards are consistently met on every job site
- Conduct on-site safety briefings and address hazards promptly
- Comply with all applicable WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety policies
- Other duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the landscaping or construction industry
- Proven experience operating landscaping equipment including excavators and power tools
- Valid driver's licence — ability to tow a 12-foot trailer is a strong asset
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 70 lbs
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
Assets:
- Experience in turf installation, sports court construction, or hardscape
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening, and horticulture practices
- Mechanical knowledge and equipment maintenance experience
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
