Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Pizza Maker/Cashier to join our vibrant team. This role combines the art of crafting delicious pizzas with providing excellent customer service at the front counter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, food safety, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn the food industry. This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and attention to detail are valued.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including slicing, topping, and assembling pizzas
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Serve customers at the counter or drive-thru with friendly and prompt service
- Take orders accurately, process payments, and manage cash register operations
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and workstations throughout shifts
- Assist in restocking supplies and organizing ingredients for efficient workflow
- Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of meal preparation and serving
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation processes is advantageous
- Experience in customer service roles involving serving and cashier duties is beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
