ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and dependable prep cook/dishwasher to support our kitchen team with food preparation and dishwashing while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable and works well in a fast-paced environment. This is a seasonal position (weather dependent, likely ends mid-October). We are looking for someone who can:
-Prepare and portion food items according to kitchen standards
-Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans efficiently and consistently
-Keep dish and prep areas clean, organized and stocked
-Assist cooks with basic prep tasks and kitchen support as needed
-Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work areas
-Help with receiving and storing deliveries properly
-Support setup and cleanup for banquets and events
-Bring a positive attitude and contribute to a strong team environment
-Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with other departments
-Get here dependably – we are located just west of Calgary on Highway 8 with no public transit access
