About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various industrial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment.
- Work with high-pressure steam systems.
- Handle electrical, pneumatic systems, cooling towers, and steam lines.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment reliability.
- Execute welding tasks and mechanical repairs.
- Manage parts purchasing and inventory.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with high-pressure steam systems.
- Knowledge of fixed machinery mechanics (Class 4 license is an asset).
- Familiarity with polystyrene equipment is a plus.
- Strong skills in electricity, pneumatics, and welding.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; calm under pressure.
- “Go-getter” attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Would ideally be able to travel to Montreal for a 2-week training.
