Farmboy Landscaping & Maintenance in High River is seeking experienced landscape carpenters for the 2026 summer season. We will be working hard this year to work on projects for our clients this year that will include; fences, gates, patios, decks, retaining walls, pergolas, and much more! If you have the woodworking knowledge and skills we want to hear from you!
The ideal candidate will have:
- General construction experience
- Knowledge of building codes
- Experience building decks, fences, retaining walls, pergolas, etc.
- Effective time management
- Able to read blueprints and plans
- Must be physically fit and capable of moving materials and equipment
- Able to withstand Alberta weather
- Valid class 5 license with clean driving record
- Able to drive a truck with a trailer
- Active participation in our Safety Program
Other related experience would be an asset:
Landscape construction experience (paving stones, etc.)
Workers with existing certifications such as Skid Steer Operator, Standard First Aid, Leadership for Safety Excellence, would be an asset
Wage range: Based on experience
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
