Aquastar Swim Lessons Ltd is hiring swim instructors across Canada immediately. You teach private, one-on-one swim lessons as an independent contractor, set your own schedule, and earn $18 to $110 per hour based on session type and experience tier.
About Aquastar
Operating since 2017, Aquastar serves 600+ families annually across Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Nanaimo, and beyond. We are expanding nationwide. You work alongside 11+ professional swim instructors in a client-focused, mobile private lessons model.
What You Will Do
- Deliver private swim lessons to children, adults, and seniors at client-owned pools
- Tailor aquatic instruction to each student's ability, comfort level, and goals
- Teach water safety skills and age-appropriate swimming techniques
- Track attendance and submit lesson reports after each session
- Communicate professionally with clients and Aquastar coordinators
- Arrive on time with all equipment prepared for every lesson
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of swim instruction experience
- Availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to client pool locations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Lifeguard certification, CPR-C, or First Aid
- Experience teaching students with varying abilities or special needs
Pay and Terms
- $17 to $110 per hour, tiered by session type and experience level
- Independent contractor arrangement
