Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, with experience using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix. Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-procedure care
- Collaborate with the dental reception team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment at all times
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure
- Proven experience with dental assisting procedures.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental and Dentrix is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a busy clinical setting
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to safety protocols
