Job description
We’re looking to hire one or more doctoral Clinical Psychologists (autonomous or supervised practice) to expand our multidisciplinary clinical team.
Successful candidates will have extensive experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment with adult clients. Specific experience offering 1:1 therapy for clients with substance use concerns and/or serious mental illness (e.g., psychosis, bipolar disorders) as well as couples experience are assets but not requirements. Candidates who are looking for a minimum of five clinical hours/week will be considered.
Our in-person services are available at our office on the corner of Jarvis and Carlton in downtown Toronto. Successful candidates will have the option of working in-person, virtually, or some combination of the two.
The start date for this position is flexible and can be discussed during interview.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A doctoral degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology
- Registration in good standing with the CPBAO or be working towards this registration. Both autonomous psychologists and those beginning supervised practice will be considered.
- Extensive experience assessing and providing evidence-based treatment for mental health issues with adults
- Ideally, specific experience and training in providing therapy for clients experiencing substance use concerns and/or serious mental illness (e.g., psychosis, bipolar disorders)
- Excellent communication skills
- Access to a private workspace or office complete with a reliable internet connection (if virtual)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $156.00-$206.00 per hour
