Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Class A Pressure Welder / Journeyman CWB Welder to join our manufacturing and construction team. This role involves performing precision welding and fabrication tasks in a variety of industrial settings, including ductwork, piping, and structural components. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Execute pressure welding using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques according to blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for fabrication and assembly processes
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform rigging tasks including lifting, positioning, and securing materials with cranes or forklifts as needed
- Conduct machining operations such as using calipers for measurements or operating machining tools for component fabrication
- Assist in assembly of components by following detailed schematics and technical instructions
- Perform maintenance on welding equipment and ensure all tools are calibrated and functioning properly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving ductwork, piping systems, or structural steel
Skills
- Certified Journeyman CWB Welder with Class A Pressure Welding certification
- Proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and general welding techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in rigging, machining, assembly, and blueprint reading
- Skilled in operating cranes, forklifts, press brake machines, power tools, hand tools, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into precise fabrication work
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to ductwork, construction projects, or piping systems
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical or mechanical systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $44.00-$47.00 per hour
