Pricing Assistant

We are looking for a Full Time -Pricing Assistant with minimum 3 years experience as a pricing or business analyst in a food or hospitality industry and in a fast-paced environment. The role involves maintaining and analyzing costing and pricing documentation and to make recommendations that will facilitate optimal pricing decisions. Job Description
The Pricing Assistant will assist the Pricing Manager in establishing, maintaining and analyzing costing and pricing documentation and to make recommendations that will facilitate optimal pricing decisions.
Reporting To: Pricing Manager
Compensation: $48,000 - $51,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Job Duties
Key responsibilities include (and not limited to) the following:
- Ensure costing / pricing updates are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required.
- Coordinate proposal development with Supervisor and Management.
- Validate quotations for accuracy and profitability.
- Assist in assembling tenders, bids, pricing updates and customer appraisals.
- Work with Menu development team to design and develop menu offerings that meet company goals, and stakeholders requirements.
- Assist with costing pricing support for menu presentations.
- In absence of Pricing Manager act as primary contact with customer issues.
- Participate in development of customer and pricing strategies.
- Develop Excel models, charts and graphs as necessary.
- Project work as required.
- Maintain Customer Databases.
- Attend food presentations for clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required
- Post-secondary degree in related operations field.
- 3-5 years’ experience as a pricing or business analyst in a food or hospitality industry.
- 3 -5 years’ Food and Beverage Cost Control experience required.
- Experience in high volume food production an asset.
- Proficient in Excel & word and mathematical skills.
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal.
- Analytical thinking.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills, and comfortable working with all levels of staff and management in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Able to work under pressure and multi task in a busy environment.
- Able to meet critical timelines.
- Experience in using CBase, Crystal Reports and SAP are assets.

Pay: $48,000.00-$51,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mississauga, ON L5P 1B2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
