Critical Factors
The primary function of the Filler Operator is to fill and package product using any one of the three types of fillers listed above, ensuring that cups are being filled, coded, sealed and packaged within specifications. Additionally, the Filler Operator performs adjustments to the process as required and trouble-shoots equipment problems. Also, the Filler Operator must be able to demonstrate the ability to run any and all of the pieces of the PLE (packaging line equipment).
Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:
- Successful candidates will have previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment ideally as a filler operator
- Experience performing CIP and related cleaning activities on the filler
- Previous experience with equipment set-up and equipment assembly
- Assist with troubleshooting problems as they arise and perform on-line quality control checks, BOM checks, taking samples
- Production reporting and documentation
- Monitor product and sealing temperatures including package integrity and weight control
- Fill equipment with the appropriate packaging materials
- Assist in sanitary maintenance as instructed by supervisor
- Environmental cleaning around the filler
- Preventative maintenance and comfortable with physical work and standing for the full shift
- Any other duties as assigned

Wednesday - Friday 18:00-6:30 (shift is subject to change)
