Job Summary
VP’s Cleaning Service is seeking dedicated, detail-oriented Light Duty and Heavy Duty Cleaners to join our growing team. As a Cleaner, you’ll help maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment in a variety of facilities. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting.
- Use hand and power tools safely for specialized cleaning tasks.
- Move and lift furniture or equipment as part of deep cleaning or site setup.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to facility occupants.
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated schedules.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards in all cleaning operations.
- Support maintenance efforts and custodial duties as needed.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding assignments, scheduling, and repairs.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in commercial or custodial cleaning (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and proper tool use is an asset.
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Proactive approach to cleanliness, safety, and facility upkeep.

- Valid G2 Driver’s License
- Own vehicle preferred
- Must be open to long-distance travel and out-of-town assignments When needed.

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
