Rozen Steelworks specializes in the fabrication of pressure piping, power piping, and structural steel. We have just opened our second shop and are taking on even more project work as we continue to grow. We are currently looking for a dedicated Equipment Operator to join the Rozen Steelworks team in Acheson, AB.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy mobile equipment of various sizes and weights safely and efficiently.
- Material handling (steel beams, structural assemblies, pipe & fabricated spools)
- Shipping/ Receiving; loading and unloading trucks of raw material & fabricated components
- Performs day-to-day monitoring, maintaining, and servicing of equipment to ensure it is in proper working order and meets operating and safety standards.
- Actively participates in health and safety meetings, safety communication, planning, and hazard assessments.
- Comply with Company and legislated environmental, health, and safety regulations, laws, and codes.
- Work as part of a team with Clients, Co-workers & Supervisors.
- All other labour duties as required.
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of experience running various equipment.
- Valid class 3 drivers license with clean drivers abstract.
- Hold the following certifications: Overhead Crane, Skid Steer Loader Operator, Forklift Operator & Telehandler-Zoom Boom Operator.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Able to perform physical/manual labour for extended periods of time.
- Able and willing to work overtime as required.
- Reliable with own transportation to get to and from work location.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.92-$36.14 per hour
