We are looking for an Estimator for our branch in Mississauga, ON to support business growth by preparing accurate project estimates, supporting the tendering process, and working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to help secure and successfully transition projects. This role collaborates closely with local and national teams to build strong, long-term client relationships, deliver tailored solutions, promote our company’s brand, and contribute to overall business development initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and take-offs for assigned projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Attend site visits and bid meetings as required.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations and tenders.
- Negotiate pricing and contract awards with clients.
- Prepare work orders and material order sheets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Participate in project handoff and production meetings.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, drafters, and other internal teams.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, materials, and construction methods.
- Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous estimating experience in construction, maintenance, or a related industry.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estimating software is an asset.
