Job Summary
At MacKinley-Clark Paving we take immense pride in our ability to provide superior asphalt paving in the Okanagan Valley and Southern Interior BC. For 20 years, we have been creating smooth and safe surfaces for driveways, sport courts, parking lots and roadways.
We are seeking a full-time detail- orientated individual for our Estimator position. This individual will possess the skills to respond to customer inquiries, analyze RFQs, understand MMCD or MOTT asphalt design and a desire to help clients quickly get the results they expect.
Key responsibilities:
· Build strong customer relationships with homeowners and commercial/ municipal clients alike.
· Review blueprints/ contracts to ensure complete and accurate bids
· Accurately measure project sites and identify potential improvements
· Build clear and precise bid proposals on a timely basis
Requirements:
· Valid drivers license
· Strong math and excel skills
· Ability to communicate with individuals and co-workers with ease
· Previous experience in sales related business or civil construction
· Be able to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadline
