Our dental office is hiring a Part-Time Dental Hygienist for Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by examining patients’ gums and teeth.
- Maintain accurate patient records using ClearDent software.
- Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide support in orthodontic and pediatric procedures as required.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- A valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly with knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with ClearDent software is a plus.
- Cantonese speaker preferred
- Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
