Regular Part-Time Support Staff, new position

The Part-Time Instructional Designer supports the development, including developmental editing of high-quality, accessible Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Access projects. Working closely with faculty subject matter experts and project stakeholders, the Instructional Designer contributes to the design, development, and delivery of engaging digital learning resources that align with academic quality standards, accessibility requirements, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
Successful candidates will be required to conduct work within Ontario and must be available to work on campus as required. It is anticipated that this position will meet the department’s needs through a hybrid work arrangement, Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with one day on-site at the Doon campus located at 299 Doon Valley Drive in Kitchener, and three days remote.
