JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking for a motivated and organized Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of commercial and residential drywall, steel framing, and insulation projects. The ideal candidate will assist Project Managers and Foremen with project coordination, scheduling, documentation, procurement, and communication to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This role is ideal for someone with strong construction coordination skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within the construction industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / Project Coordination
- Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administration.
- Coordinate drywall, steel stud framing, and insulation project activities from pre-construction through closeout.
- Track project schedules, milestones, manpower, and material deliveries.
- Maintain project documentation, including RCOs, CO, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and site instructions.
- Support procurement and ensure materials are ordered and delivered on schedule.
- Prepare meeting minutes when required.
- Coordinate with site crews, suppliers, and general contractors.
- Help ensure projects remain on budget and identify potential cost impacts.
- Create Mark-up drawings and back up documents for RCOs.
- Support safety compliance and company safety procedures.
Administrative Support
- Prepare and organize project files and closeout documentation.
- Assist with progress billing, time tracking, and project reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of correspondence and project changes.
- Support estimating and tendering activities when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience in drywall, steel framing, insulation, or general construction coordination is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction management software is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with change order pricing, takeoffs, and material procurement.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
