Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Foreman to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations on-site, coordinate with team members, ensure safety compliance, and uphold quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with construction management software. The Foreman will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules
- Lead and manage construction crews, providing clear instructions and support to meet project goals
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide work processes
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking and documentation
- Monitor quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions promptly
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings to maintain a secure work environment
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management practices
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and budgeting processes within large-scale projects
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Experience managing multiple teams or subcontractors on diverse projects is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and enforce safety standards effectively
