Deconstructors Demolition Inc. is looking for a Demolition Labourer to join our crew in a seasonal full-time position.
Demolition is more than tearing things down. Our work focuses on safe, careful, and environmentally responsible demolition and deconstruction. This includes preparing sites, removing materials, sorting salvage and recycling, supporting hazardous materials controls, and helping leave each site safer, cleaner, and ready for the next stage of work.
This is a hands-on role and a great opportunity to gain practical experience in demolition, deconstruction, construction, environmental services, and the skilled trades. Previous experience is helpful, but not required. Training and supervision will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will work with experienced foremen, supervisors, and crew members on active job sites. Duties may include:
- Helping prepare job sites before demolition or deconstruction begins
- Setting up work areas, signage, barricades, and controlled access zones
- Removing non-structural materials by hand
- Loading, unloading, carrying, and organizing tools, materials, and debris
- Using basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Sorting materials for salvage, recycling, disposal, or reuse
- Cleaning and organizing work areas to help maintain safe job sites
- Helping maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Completing basic safety documentation, such as hazard assessments and toolbox talks
- Following directions from foremen and supervisors
- Working respectfully with crew members, clients, and other trades on site
Work conditions may vary. Some days may be dusty, muddy, repetitive, or physically demanding. Safety is always the top priority.

Experience in construction, labour, landscaping, warehouse work, tools, or equipment is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
A valid driver’s licence is an asset, but not required unless needed for specific site assignments.
