Qualifications:
- Completion of High School Diploma an asset
- Must have good English verbal and/or writing skills
- Familiarity and experience with general hand and power tools and equipment
- Experience operating various lawn equipment
- Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance or related experience
- Able to be flexible, self-motivated and take initiative
- Able to work independently and in a team environment where mutual support is essential
- Able to plan and organize work efficiently and effectively
- Able to perform physical work including bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting
up to 50lbs
- Able to follow safe work procedures to keep self and others safe while operating various
power and hand tools as well as handling hazardous chemicals
- Able to work in variable environments including dust, warm or cold temperatures, etc.
- Must provide own basic tools and drill
- Previous WHMIS training and experience working with hazardous chemicals (Will be considered
ASSET)
- Valid G License in good standing with a clean drivers abstract
- Working at heights certification as asset
- Any licenses/certifications will be considered an Asset
- Must own a vehicle and have full access at all times
Work Schedule:
● Monday to Friday- 8:00 am Start
● A Flexible Schedule for Evenings, Weekends and Holidays as required due to peak periods, work
site visits or emergencies
