Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in agriculture or manufacturing with strong leadership and problem-solving sills. If you have experience as a supervisor and possess excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
Duties
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Complete performance reviews and annual SOP training
- Respond to alarms in a timely manner
- Ensure all egg sets are being entered into incubators on time and, according to set-list
- Oversee daily operations, ensure all tasks are completed properly and to standard and all areas are in ready working order for day shift
- Assist with training new employees
- Light maintenance as required
- Documentation and Reporting: Keeping detailed records of all alarms, issues encountered, and actions taken. Communicating any significant incidents or persistent problems to maintenance, management and/or supervisors.
Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred
- Proficiency in supervising and managing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in manufacturing, agricultural or factory setting is an asset
