Casa 1881 is a modern Italian restaurant located inside The Windsor Hotel in the heart of Stratford. Inspired by the timeless hospitality of Italy, we offer handcrafted cocktails, an all-Italian wine list, and authentic cuisine in an elegant yet welcoming setting.
We're looking for a passionate Lead Bartender to help lead our beverage program and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on role behind the bar, with opportunities to serve tables during quieter periods or as business needs require.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
- Provide knowledgeable wine recommendations and food pairings, with an emphasis on Italian wines
- Deliver exceptional service to guests at both the bar and dining tables
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and maintaining bar standards
- Ensure Smart Serve, AGCO, and food safety standards are followed
- Help train and mentor other team members as the restaurant grows
- Work closely with the management and culinary teams to create memorable dining experiences
What We're Looking For
- Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant
- Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits
- Passion for Italian cuisine, Italian wines, and hospitality
- Experience with wine service and food pairing is a strong asset
- Friendly, professional, and confident with guests
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Evening and weekend availability
