Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest service, manage front desk operations, and ensure smooth hotel operations during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a positive and welcoming attitude, and previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered an asset to better serve our diverse guests.
The successful candidate must be willing and available to work two overnight shifts per week, with the remaining shifts scheduled during either the morning or evening. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment where providing outstanding guest experiences is our highest priority.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest inquiries, and handle reservations with professionalism.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details during night shifts.
- Perform nightly audits of hotel accounts, reconcile transactions, and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property during overnight hours.
- Handle guest requests or complaints with tact and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area and lobby.
- Follow all hotel policies regarding phone etiquette, guest privacy, and hospitality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk or hotel operations is preferred; hospitality background is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of hospitality software systems or property management systems is advantageous.
- Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with hospitality standards.
