We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, offering product demos and technical explanations as needed
- Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and appeal
- Handle cashiering duties efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and receipt issuance
- Provide information about store promotions, policies, and product features using excellent phone etiquette
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise
- Engage with customers to build rapport and foster repeat business through personalized service
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean, organized store environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math skills for transactions
- Ability to perform product demos and technical sales confidently
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a customer-first approach
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers both in person and over the phone
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability
- Multilingual skills are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases
