About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join a specialty pharmacy in Edmonton, Alberta. This is a 4-week contract role with a potential for extension. The position provides full-time hours in a professional, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify prescriptions accurately, following provincial and federal regulations
- Provide expert advice to patients on specialty medications, including usage and possible side effects
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to deliver outstanding patient care
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations, including inventory management and record-keeping
Qualifications
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Pharmacist in Alberta
- Experience in specialty pharmacy or with specialty medications is an asset
- Strong clinical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; a team-oriented approach
