Experienced Field Appliance Technician – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Scarborough, Markham, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, and surrounding GTA areas
Pay: $27.00–$35.00 per hour, based on appliance repair experience

Unlimited Staff is currently hiring an experienced Field Appliance Technician for a leading company in the commercial laundry and appliance service industry.
This is a strong opportunity for a skilled technician who already has hands-on experience repairing appliances, especially washers, dryers, and laundry equipment. We are looking for someone who can diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment confidently in the field.

Important Requirement
Applicants must have direct appliance repair experience.
Experience with HVAC alone is not enough for this position. Candidates must have hands-on experience repairing appliances such as washers, dryers, laundry equipment, or similar equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnose, service, repair, and test commercial washers, dryers, and laundry equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
Complete service calls at customer locations in a professional and efficient manner.
Repair and maintain equipment according to company standards.
Assist with installations, retrofits, overhauls, and equipment inspections.
Build strong customer relationships by providing reliable and professional service.
Manage and restock truck inventory to stay prepared for service calls.
Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and proper operation of the company vehicle.
Follow all company procedures, safety standards, and service requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of direct appliance repair experience required.
Experience repairing washers, dryers, or commercial laundry equipment is strongly preferred.
G2 Gas Fitter Certification is required.
Valid Class G Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and work with electrical components.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Must own basic tools.
Must be reliable, professional, and comfortable working in the field.
Ability to work overtime, on-call shifts, weekends, or travel when required.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Schedule Options
Sunday to Thursday
Tuesday to Saturday
Overtime and on-call work may be available depending on business needs.

Compensation and Benefits
