About the Role
The Business Automation Developer is responsible for advancing organizational efficiency through the design and delivery of digital automation and data solutions. This role leverages tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Office 365 applications to modernize workflows, integrate data, and improve information accessibility across the organization. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, the Business Automation Developer identifies automation opportunities, develops solutions, and ensures high-quality implementation.
- Analyze business processes to identify and prioritize opportunities for automation aligned with organizational objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint).
- Build and maintain enterprise data models, integrations, and dashboards to deliver reliable, real-time insights.
- Develop scalable automation architectures that ensure system compatibility, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Deploy, monitor, and continuously improve automation solutions to optimize performance.
- Create and maintain documentation, including workflows, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Provide user support and training to drive adoption of automation tools and best practices.
- Partner with IT and internal teams to ensure solutions align with the organization’s technical environment and operational goals.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Analytics.
- Postgraduate education or industry certifications in Business Analytics, Process Automation, Data Visualization or Industrial Statistics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
- Strong experience building intuitive Power BI dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in business process automation tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of database management, data modeling, and data integration concepts.
- Experience with system integration methods, including APIs, web services, and data connectors.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Ability to design and implement practical, scalable technical solutions to improve efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including testing, refining, and maintaining automation tools.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills to coordinate solutions across teams and projects.
Salary Range: $85,112 to $100,303 per annum
