Provide leadership and oversight of NFLES operations across assigned sites and contracted service areas. Manage staffing, scheduling, performance, and employee development. Support and monitor third-party contractors to ensure service quality, contract compliance, and performance expectations are met. Ensure compliance with infection prevention, occupational health and safety, and regulatory standards. Develop and manage budgets, optimizing resources to support service excellence. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutrition, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience in NFLES or related support services. Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience in a healthcare environment. Experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary teams and oversee contracted service providers. Experience managing vendor/contract relationships and service performance. Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Understanding of the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
