The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient experience and maintaining the overall efficiency of the front desk operations.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and address patient inquiries
- Utilize electronic medical records systems such as Curve to update patient information accurately
- Verify insurance details and process billing and payments efficiently
- Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Handle appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations with attention to detail
Experience
- 1 year of experience as dental receptionist mandatory required
- Proven office experience including front desk responsibilities and administrative support
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems and handling high-volume patient interactions is desirable
- Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
