Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of heavenly desserts with precision and care, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Operate the Micros POS system efficiently for order processing, payments, and cash handling.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling desserts to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple guests promptly while maintaining accuracy in orders and payments.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies, restocking ingredients, and ensuring proper storage practices.
- Uphold restaurant standards by practicing excellent sanitation, safety protocols, and teamwork to create a welcoming environment for all guests.
Experience
- Previous food service experience preferred, especially within the food industry or restaurant settings.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety regulations.
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cashiering and order management.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety standards is highly desirable.
