Location: St. John's, NL
Pay: $20.00–$22.50/hour + 4% Vacation Pay (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour paid lunch)
Position Type: Full-Time Contract with Opportunity for Permanent Hire (3–4 months)
Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver for our client in St. John's. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with shipping, receiving, inventory, or logistics experience who enjoys working in a small team environment where accuracy and organization are valued.
Responsibilities
- Ship and receive incoming and outgoing goods
- Track and document incoming and outgoing shipments
- Accurately post goods receipts
- Maintain shipping logs, manifests, filing systems, and proof of delivery records
- Handle and document shipments involving Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse duties
- Perform manual material handling, including lifting, moving, and organizing products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certification required
- Experience using Microsoft Excel for tracking and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- SAP experience is considered an asset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving materials
- Team lifting required for heavier items
- Comfortable standing and walking for most of the workday
PPE Requirements
Candidate Must Provide:
- CSA-approved steel toe boots
Provided if Required:
- Gloves
- Hard hat
- Safety vest
- Safety glasses
Additional Information
- Small warehouse environment (not a high-volume distribution centre)
- No forklift operation required
- Located on a bus route, although reliable transportation is preferred
- Criminal Background Check required
- Client interview required as part of the hiring process
