Otto Heating & Cooling is looking for a friendly, outgoing and reliable Costco Lead Generator to represent our company at our booth inside Costco in Edmonton.
This is a great part-time role for someone who enjoys meeting new people, having friendly conversations, and helping customers learn more about home comfort options such as furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. You do not need to be an HVAC expert or an experienced salesperson, we are looking for someone who is kind, optimistic, approachable, and comfortable starting conversations with Costco members.

About the Role: as a Costco Lead Generator, you will work at the Otto Heating & Cooling booth inside Costco and speak with customers who may be interested in learning more about new heating and cooling equipment for their home.
Your role is not to complete the sale. Instead, your job is to create a positive first impression, briefly explain who Otto Heating & Cooling is, answer basic questions, and collect customer information so our team can follow up to schedule an in-home consultation and quote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Otto Heating & Cooling professionally and positively at our Costco booth
- Greet and engage with Costco members in a friendly, respectful and approachable way
- Speak with potential customers about furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and home comfort options
- Explain the basic process for having Otto Heating & Cooling follow up and provide an in-home quote
- Collect accurate customer contact information and enter it into our system
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional booth area
- Work scheduled shifts during high-traffic times at Costco
- Communicate with the Otto team regarding leads, customer questions and booth activity
Qualifications:
- Friendly, positive and comfortable talking to new people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Basic comfort using a tablet, phone or computer to enter customer information
- Flexible availability, including peak Costco traffic times
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality or promotional experience is an asset, but not required
- HVAC knowledge is not required, training will be provided
