Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in the use of power tools. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials for trade show booths
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, roofs, and cabinets.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete projects.
- Perform masonry tasks as needed for various construction projects.
- Execute concrete forming for foundations and other structures.
- Install drywall and ensure proper finishing techniques are applied.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople including electricians and handymen to complete projects efficiently.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques is preferred.
- Experience with cabinet installation is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and drywall installation is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
