Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Tinter to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality window tinting films to vehicles, ensuring a professional finish that meets customer expectations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing both manual dexterity and technical skills to enhance vehicle aesthetics and comfort. Prior experience in dealership settings or automotive repair is highly valued, along with mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various tools.
Responsibilities
- Carefully measure and cut window tinting film to fit various vehicle windows
- Apply tint film smoothly without bubbles, wrinkles, or imperfections
- Use hand tools and power tools to prepare surfaces and secure film properly
- Ensure all tinting complies with legal standards and company quality guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment before and after each job
- Assist with vehicle inspections and minor repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols when handling tools and working around vehicles
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding service details
Skills
- Dealership experience or automotive repair background is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle structures and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky materials
- Experience working with automotive glass, film application, or similar tasks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail for precise application of tint films
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Class 5 License required
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
