We are currently hiring a Home Financing Advisor to support our Windsor Essex Region. This role will serve members at the Amherstburg, Belle River and Essex locations. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
The Home Financing position focuses on activities that maximize the development of residential mortgage business through building strong reciprocal relationships with third party referral sources (real estate agents, lawyers and other centers of influence), with a goal of attracting new members to Libro. They work to cultivate and expand relationships with existing members, with a focus on expansion of the share of wallet. Identify and refer opportunities to all segments. They will offer expert knowledge to complex financing needs. Commitment to the on-going knowledge and expectations as outlined in the Home Financing Advisor role map.
This role is eligible to participate in the sales compensation program.
- Target Compensation - $110,773

The Role:
- Provide complex mortgage-secured lending including builds, self-employed, multiple properties to appropriately fulfill member needs.
- Reach out proactively to member and prospects responding to referrals, data insights and market intelligence to grow personal mortgage lending portfolio.
- Conduct holistic conversations with members using planners and budgeting tools.
- Refer opportunities seamlessly to appropriate specialists to match expertise to member's identified needs, including non-complex lending solutions to Personal Banking Specialist.
- Build relationships with industry professionals and community contacts across the region for ongoing business development.
- Develop collaborative relationships with internal teams and business segments to effectively service members and grow business.
- Create a business plan, identifying activities and setting goals to support regional mortgage lending growth.
- Make smart risk recommendations and decisions that protect our members and Libro.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4 to 6 years' experience in advice and sales environment with 3 to 5 years lending experience.
- Expert knowledge in mortgage (retail) lending and applicable regulatory requirements including construction financing, rental property lending, and self-employed.
- Strong understanding of local markets and sales trends.
- Expert knowledge in mortgage lending and credit adjudication.
- A passion for helping people grow their financial well-being.
