Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any issues professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including table settings and service stations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for billing, change calculation, and order accuracy
- Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation is a plus but not required
- Hospitality mindset with a professional appearance and demeanor
