Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to produce precise metal components in accordance with blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities
- Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings
- Set up machine parameters, including tooling, based on project specifications
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for quality inspection and precision measurement
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to minimize downtime
- Assist with welding, assembly, and other tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing setting
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, and quality inspection techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances
- Familiarity with crane operation and forklift handling is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with assembly processes is preferred
