What You’ll Do
- Learn heat treating processes and safe equipment operation
- Load, fixture, and process customer parts
- Assist with hardness testing and paperwork
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and cleaning equipment
- Support production flow to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe work area
What You Need
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license + reliable vehicle (mandatory – no transit access)
- Ability to work rotating shifts (days/afternoons/nights)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Able to pass a pre-employment fitness test
Assets (not required):
- Shop or manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude or technical training
Work Environment
- Industrial shop (heat, noise, physical work)
- PPE required (provided)
- Active role – standing, lifting, moving parts
