Working with the Town of Newmarket’s Recreation and Culture Team, means the opportunity to make a difference and connect with your community! We are looking for dedicated individuals who enjoy working with others with a passion to deliver high quality programs, events and services. The Successful Candidate Will:
Manage their class time and preparation time, as well as arriving on time for their program, ensuring all supplies are available and that such equipment and supplies are maintained in a safe condition and ensures a proper setup of their room prior to the commencement of each class.

Please Note: Certifications are not required at time of application but must be obtained prior to job commencement. The Town of Newmarket may offer opportunities for certification.
Disclaimer: Candidates whose Standard First Aid certification expires after June 22, 2026 must renew their certification through a WSIB-approved provider and obtain the new Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C certification at candidates own cost.
