Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Duct Cleaner to join our team in providing high-quality HVAC and ventilation system maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining ductwork and related systems to ensure optimal air quality and system efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills. The position offers opportunities for hands-on work with various tools and equipment, contributing to the safety and comfort of our clients’ facilities.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to clean and inspect ductwork and ventilation systems
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and air ducts
- Conduct commercial cleaning of ducts, vents, and related components in various facility types
- Utilize custodial experience to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of work areas
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within scheduled deadlines
- Lift heavy equipment or materials safely during cleaning procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain safety standards by recognizing potential hazards during cleaning operations
- Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is a plus
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more) as required by the job
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or duct cleaning techniques is advantageous but not mandatory
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards
- Driver license
