Yoke Group Inc.
Hamilton, Ontario
Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 + benefits
Reports to: Leasing Manager
Yoke Group is an urban real estate development and property management company based in Hamilton, Ontario. We own and operate a portfolio of mixed-use, commercial, and residential properties across Hamilton and the Niagara region.
We are hiring a Property Administrator to support our leasing and property management teams with day-to-day administrative and front-line work. This is an operational support role, not a strategic management role. The right person will help keep showings, leasing paperwork, tenant communication, and property administration moving smoothly so the Leasing Manager and Property Manager can focus on higher-level priorities.
This is a mobile role based in Hamilton, with regular travel between Hamilton and St. Catharines. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and business-use insurance are required.
What You’ll Do
Your time will be split roughly between:
Showings and tenant engagement — approximately 45%
You will conduct in-person property showings across Hamilton and St. Catharines, with a strong focus on supporting the lease-up of our 68-unit rental building at 810 King Street West. You will be one of the first people prospective tenants meet, so confidence, professionalism, and clear communication matter.
Leasing administration — approximately 30%
You will support the leasing process by processing rental applications, preparing them for the Leasing Manager’s approval, preparing lease documents, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and maintaining listings on platforms such as RentSync and ShowMojo.
Property administration support — approximately 25%
You will support the Property Manager with day-to-day administration, including insurance certificates, compliance documents, tenant communication, key management, and Buildium support. This may include routing maintenance requests, managing tenant logins, and sending tenant announcements or notices of entry after vendor visits have been arranged by the Property Manager.
You will also be expected to become familiar with Ontario LTB processes, including common notices such as N1 rent increase notices and N4 termination notices.
Schedule
This is a full-time role with a generally standard work schedule. Some flexibility is required for occasional evening or weekend showings, but this is not intended to be an “always evenings and weekends” position.
What We’re Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or similar support role
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage a mobile schedule across multiple properties
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Business-use vehicle insurance
- Confident and professional in-person presence
Strongly preferred:
- Experience in real estate, property management, or leasing
- Familiarity with Buildium, RentSync, ShowMojo, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of Ontario LTB processes, including N1 and N4 notices
- Knowledge of Hamilton or Niagara rental markets
The Person Who Will Thrive Here
You will do well in this role if you are organized, responsive, comfortable being on the move, and willing to handle a mix of administrative work and front-line tenant interaction. You should be the kind of person who can keep details straight, follow up without being chased, and represent the company well in person.
This is a hands-on role for someone who likes real estate, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in keeping day-to-day operations organized and moving.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
