At Junior Scholars we honour that all children are unique individuals. Our programs provide a child-centred environment where children can safely learn through play. We love to play outside and explore our natural world. Our Programs are Reggio inspired play based programs.
We are a long-standing licensed group child care facility located in Surrey with 2 different programs that are rich with music, art, play and laughter!

Candidates MUST be qualified with a valid ECEIT Licence to practice in BC.
Candidate MUST be currently residing in BC as the job position is time sensitive.
Job Description:
- Prepare and maintain materials needed for daily activities
- encourage organization and healthy relationships with children and parents
- Ensure our philosophy, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Bond with each child and provide them with a nurturing and stable environment
- Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for individual and cultural different
All Candidates Must:
Be creative and positive
Be able to work full-time shifts between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm
Be able to work closely with managers and other staff members
Demonstrate excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
Ideal Candidate:
Must have previous experience in a Licensed Group Childcare Centre
Must have a can-do attitude and be able to think on their feet and manage in a busy facility
Pay: $18.25-$23.00 per hour

Experience:
- ECE/IT : 2 years (preferred)

- Infant & Toddler Educator Certificate (preferred)
