Pultrusion Operator
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pultrusion Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of 1–2 pultrusion lines (depending on profile size and experience level), ensuring product quality, safety compliance, and efficient production output.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate pultrusion lines within specification and work instruction guidelines
- Perform line set-ups, start-ups, and shut-downs
- Monitor raw materials and non-mainframe material splices
- Wash, stamp, and package profiles according to setup instructions
- Remove profiles from saw cutting area and cut out purges when required
- Perform hourly quality control checks and complete required documentation
- Complete process sheets and Profile Specification Control sheets hourly
- Report non-conforming products (NCP) or scrap immediately to leadership
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
- Conduct basic machine cleaning and maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of (or willingness to complete):
- WHMIS
- Back Safety
- SOQ
- 5S Training
- Minimum 2 weeks of supervised experience operating with a designated trainer
- Ability to use hand tools, air tools, and profile measuring devices
- Basic knowledge of part defects and their causes
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organization and housekeeping skills
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Mechanically inclined (preferred but not required)

Work Environment
