Job Overview
The Quality Inn & Suites in Quispamsis is seeking a dependable and professional full-time Evening Front Desk & Guest Services Agent.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment that blends customer service with property operations. Along with managing guest check-ins and reservations, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and overall presentation of our property during the evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Front Desk
- Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and walk-in bookings.
- Manage phone reservations, guest inquiries, and maintain accurate shift till counts.
- Monitor specialized logs, including the Park & Fly binder and the Conference Reservation Book.
Property Care & Evening Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming mats.
- Clean and refresh the guest coffee station.
- Clean, vacuum, and reset conference rooms after use, ensuring climate control and lights are turned off.
Pool & Laundry Support
- Manage pool closing procedures, including taking water readings and turning off basement hallway lights.
- Collect and wash pool towels, and assist with general hotel laundry during quieter periods.
Safety & Security
- Conduct routine interior and exterior property rounds throughout the shift.
- Monitor outdoor areas, including the main entrance garbage bins.
Qualifications
- Reliable Availability: Consistently available for the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift, 5 days a week (including weekends).
- Strong Multi-Tasking Skills: Ability to balance front-facing guest service with operational tasks throughout the evening.
- Detail-Oriented: Comfortable following a structured daily checklist independently.
- Basic Tech Skills: Comfortable using computers and phone systems; experience with hotel reservation software is an asset.
- Physical Ability: Able to stand for extended periods, lift laundry baskets, and complete outdoor property walks.
