Explorers Academy (theexploreracademy.com) is seeking a passionate and innovative Robotics Trainer to join our growing team. This role is perfect for individuals who are excited about STEM education, hands-on learning, and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging robotics training sessions for students of varying ages and skill levels.
- Teach core concepts in robotics, coding, and engineering using platforms such as LEGO® Education, Arduino, VEX, or similar systems.
- Guide students in problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking through robotics projects.
- Prepare students for competitions and exhibitions by coaching them in building, programming, and presenting robotics solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance STEM learning programs and develop new curricula.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of robotics platforms, coding, and electronics.
- Experience in teaching or training, preferably in robotics, engineering, or STEM education.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for mentoring and inspiring students.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Scratch is a plus.
- Degree or certification in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or related field preferred.
