Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a positive experience throughout their visit
- Manage appointment scheduling, recalls, confirmations, and patient communications
- Answer phones, emails, and patient inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-testing procedures including:
- Assist patients with frame and lens selection
- Educate patients regarding eyewear and contact lenses
- Conduct contact lens training for new wearers
- Place and track eyewear and contact lens orders
- Verify prescription accuracy and quality before dispensing
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Support daily clinic operations, inventory management, and administrative tasks
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and reception areas
- Assist with coordinating workflow to ensure smooth clinic operations

Education & Experience
- Medical Office Administration, Office Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related education preferred
- Previous experience in optometry, ophthalmology, optical, retail healthcare, or medical administration is an asset
- Experience with EMRs is an asset
Schedule
- Full-time
- Must be available to work Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
- Additional weekday shifts will be scheduled as needed

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
